Rooftop Photo
Using acrylic paint (to layer and define detail as well as tone) and fine liner pen (to create brief outlines) I created this almost Akash Bhatt styled painting.
Run Down, Overgrown Building Photo
Using the style of Jim Butler to create these two pieces. The first only uses two different coloured acrylic paint.
This second one uses paper with coloured patterns from magazine pages.
Street Corner Photo
Another loosely based on Akash Bhatt's work using two different acrylic paints layered on top with a fine liner outline.
Filthy Drain Pipes Photo
Using black and white acrylic paint to create this abstract piece. Just like in the style of John Virtue who uses a lot of tone to define dark areas from light areas.
Rusted Metal Ladder Frame Photo
I tried to attempt to use other media more such as charcoal. As shown I made a charcoal drawing based of the picture shown.
Also, I created another John Virtue styled piece with this photo including...
...another Jim Butler styled piece.
Rooms To Let Photo
This is an attempt at making a continuous line image using a graphite stick.
I also tried using another given technique from my tutors which involves using two different coloured marker pens which blended well together. I used brown and black to blend and create other darker tones of brown.
